Prashant spent more than a couple of decades in investment management, strategy development and technical due-diligence in the Infrastructure and Real Asset sectors. He built and led investment teams that provided over $10 billion of structured private capital to companies in the power & renewables, transportation & logistics, digital infrastructure, and other essential services sectors.

Prashant joined Owl Rock Capital, a leading alternative asset manager with approximately $20 Billion AUM to lead the build out of a private debt business focused in the Infrastructure and Real Asset sectors. Previously, he was with Macquarie for more than decade, where he built and oversaw a team that originated and managed a portfolio of investments and project finance loans. Prior to that, Prashant worked at Credit Suisse, Booz Allen Hamilton and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided advice on asset valuation, risk management and M&A diligence to Fortune 500 companies in the energy and utility sectors.

Mr. Mupparapu received a Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he was conferred the Stern Scholar Award and recipient of the Hans A. Vogelstein alumni scholarship. As part of his Masters in Science in Physical Oceanography, he conducted NOAA funded research jointly run by Dartmouth College and University of New Hampshire. He published and presented his research on the effects of air-sea interaction on ocean mixing and composition. Previously, he received a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Prior to business school, he founded and sold a marine communications company, which developed a device for intelligent oceanographic data collection. He holds a patent for a wave-powered sea-water pump for use in aquaculture farms. Mr. Mupparapu supports and serves on non-profit boards promoting South Asian arts and culture, and as the Treasurer and Trustee for the Berkeley Carroll School. He enjoys hiking, skiing and cooking with his two kids and lives in Brooklyn.
