After successful pilot in Boston Soofas are available in the U.S.

The MIT Media Lab spinoff Changing Environments Inc. installed Soofas in Boston with the support of the Mayors office and funding from Cisco. The solar-powered benches are currently installed in 5 locations providing free charging to the public – on average 8 hours per day per Soofa. A larger roll-out is planned as more than 400 people engaged in a crowdsourcing effort searching for the next Soofa locations – proof that people love Soofa.
